Sucker Punch's Nate Fox finds PSP "exciting"

Sly Cooper - Image 1Speaking to VideoGamer.com during the Leipzig Games Convention, Sucker Punch Productions' game director Nate Fox revealed that the studio may still be making a PSP title in the future.

"PSP is pretty exciting," said Fox. "I spend a lot of time on the bus, so it'd be nice to contribute to gamers around the world who also play games on the bus."

Fox didn't say any more apart from that, but he did also mention in a separate interview that Sucker Punch would "would love to get back to Sly". Add the two together, mix in some imaginative speculation, and voila! Although earlier rumors about a new Sly Cooper game have since been dispelled, there may yet be a chance for a Sly Cooper PSP title.

Of course, the operative word here is "speculation". Still, Fox's comments about the PS3 not having the Sly franchise's target demographic yet coupled with his love for the PSP does lead one to thinking.
