Techno Dummy is a new live-chat series highlighting the use of technology in the classroom. We start the series preparing for the school year. Each episode is designed to help teachers manage the requirements of running a smooth classroom.
Episode 1:
- Explains the purposes of the Techno Dummy series
- Provides an explanation of hardware and software needed
- Suggests a layout for saving files
- Decide whether to print or upload your documents
Episode 1 begins at 10:00 AM PST Friday July 25, 2008. Live broadcasting of the pre-show began around 5 PM Thursday. LPH began preparing the first show and has an outline. Feel free to watch and chime in with your suggestions on how to help teachers prepare for the school year.
Techno Dummy will be a live interactive broadcast. Every visitor will be able to ask questions regarding the show's topics. Feel free to send questions in early via email (layne DOT heiny AT gmail DOT com) or put them in the chat window during the pre-show. You are also welcome to ask your questions during the live broadcast.
